Alexey Ivanovich Korzukhin (1835 – 1894) was a Russian painter.

He studied at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts and in 1865 he was named an Academician.

He was member of the “Revolt of the Fourteen”, a group of students who favored Realism and were protesting the Academy’s insistence on painting in the Classical style.

His paintings were influenced from religion and daily life. He did also portraits.

He was a witness to the assassination of Tsar Alexander II and this resulted in severe nervous shock that damaged his health.
